Welcome to my new Blog!

It is here that I will post my new cartoons as I complete them. I came up with the idea for the cartoon about mid-September (2005) and starting writing down ideas for the captions. It seems that once I started coming up with the whacky statements - based on comments that I've heard or read, they just started flowing like a torrential flood. In just a matter of days I had come up with almost 100 captions. My goal at the beginning was to maybe do 40 or 50 cartoons a year but now I'm thinking maybe, just maybe I can do a whole lot better than that.

I sure don't have to look or listen far for ideas to write about. Just a quick "flip" through the cable channels, a fast scan through the editorials in the local newspaper, and a daily visit to a couple of national news web sites and I've got more than enough ideas to play with.
